Stéfani Sonzzini Navarro is the Vice-President of BALA.  She is a Brazilian attorney and her New York license is in process.  She is a visiting attorney at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in New York City, where she works with complex litigation, handling several cross-border issues in different areas of expertise. She joined the firm following her Master of Laws’ degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, in Chicago.

Stéfani also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Mackenzie University in São Paulo, Brazil, a post-graduate degree focused on civil procedure from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC), also in Brazil, and an International Commercial Law diploma at King’s College London, United Kingdom. She speaks Portuguese and English fluently, and has an overall comprehension of Spanish and French.

Regarding Stéfani’s professional background, she has worked as attorney-at-law at TozziniFreire Advogados, and dedicated her past few years as an in-house Counsel to Ambev S.A., the Brazilian subsidiary of AB-Inbev. There, she was in charge of the Litigation and Arbitration department, served as consultant to various departments of the company, and represented the company before the Public Authorities. Stéfani's experience also includes heading criminal investigations and implementing compliance programs.
